Biomedical Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Biomedical engineers apply engineering principles and materials technology to
healthcare. This can include researching, designing and developing medical
products, such as joint replacements or robotic surgical instruments, designing
or modifying equipment for clients with special needs in a rehabilitation
setting, or managing the use of clinical equipment in hospitals and the
community.

Salary: Starting salaries for entry level medical
engineering technicians in the NHS range between £21,176 and £27,625 (Band
5).
Education: Relevant degrees that are accredited by the Institution of
Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institution of
Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) are available in the
following subjects:

biomedical science/engineering;
·
electrical/electronic engineering;
·
mechanical engineering;
·
physics.
Reflection: This would be a job to work as but it’s not my
thing so yeah.
